Uh, an english thread

I Love th Englich language. It sounds so much better than the German one ^^
I would like to communicate with you to improve my admittedly not very good english.
So, you can call me Bllie. I'm 16 ears old and i own a dog and a hamster.
I go to the 11th grade and I'm learning english for around 6 years.
I love to look films in english, but unfortunatly they're mostly american films. In school we have to talk and write british english, so it's a bit difficult for me.
But luckily I don't have to write my Examination in the subject English, because I have Latin too, so...

Uhm, by the way, I'm considering to go to irelang at least for a few years. Does anyone else like to go to an english Contry for a while (I mean longer than a few weeks )? Maybe even Ireland to?

It sounds better - yes! But there are so many expressions, words, nuances that English is missing.
German is such a rich language in words and in the slight nuances you may express by using two words with almost the same meaning.
I miss German - I honestly do.

and since there is no even near expression for one of my favorite German proverbs: "den Teufel werde ich tun!" I feel very limited.

Yes, Zworgli I know it. But I've never been there. I was in Barcelona a few years ago... beautiful city.
Going to Florida is not a big deal. We live in Tennessee, so it's "just" an 8 hour trip. We stoped in between and spend a night in Savannah Georgia.

ah okay! Unfortunately, I wasn't in Barcelona... We only were on the airport to arrive and to flight back..so I haven't seen the city... but maybe I will go another time!

Oh good gracious! I have ended up in Loret once! It was a so called "Glücksreise". You book a trip and they only tell you the country...

My English is not that great either - reading your posts it no different than reading my desperate efforts to write a business letter
